Count Chocula (Rice Krispie) Treats Recipe

Thanks to Cakespy.com’s “Rice Krispie Treat Challenge” post, I was inspired to make some Count Chocula treats at home. As if Count Chocula wasn’t sugary enough by being a chocolate version of Lucky Charms with their yummy little dehydrated marshmallows, we add fluffy mini marshmallows to the mix. Don’t forget, there’s butter, too. Very healthy 🙂

[ The picture doesn’t do it justice ]

4 tablespoons of butter
4 cups of mini marshmallows
6 cups of Count Chocula
1. Melt butter and marshmallows in a pot.
2. Pour in the cereal and mix well.
3. Press into greased pan and cool.
4. Cut and Serve

Like Cakespy, I’m also going to try making this with Corn Pops and Frosted Flakes but not until I try the recipe for the chocolate/butterscotch/peanut butter bars I saw on the side of the Corn Flakes box.
