Fraternity Cake

Tim’s been bringing my class cakes to his fraternity house, and the boys have enjoyed eating them and asked if I could make something for this weekend.

Well, I don’t have the skills yet to do anything fancy, and I didn’t want to make this girly even though flowers are the main features of my current repetoire. However, I’m excited about the March Fondant and Gumpaste Course. I think I’ll be able to do a lot more cool things after that.

8″ red velvet cake with buttercream icing. I used Wilton tip #32 for the stars and shells and a 10″ Show N Serve board. All the supplies are at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
