Weight Loss

Woah. I lost more weight. I’m now 118 pounds. I was 125 when I met Tim and 120 when I found out I was pregnant. It’s funny because I haven’t even been trying, and I weigh less than I did my last semester of college.

My mom: You look so skinny! Are you working out?
Me: I had a baby. That’s a workout!

Actually I’m breastfeeding exclusively, too, which burns 500-600 calories a day! That’s more than I’ve ever burned in a workout, personally. Tim and I have also cut down our fast food intake to no more than once a week (which is pretty good considering how bad we were when we first moved), and I’ve stopped drinking anything that isn’t water (I used to only drink water until my sweet toothed hubby and pregnancy sugar cravings threw me off).

I’m not trying to lose weight, but this trend probably won’t last long. I’m enjoying it while I can. I’m sure someday in the not so distant future, things will slow down, I’ll stop breastfeeding, and it won’t be this easy anymore. I’m not worried about it though. Not right now anyway.
