Bah, cold germs.

The cold has spread through my family. First my mother, who always gets sick, brought it home presumably from the hospital where she works. Then I caught it. My husband caught it. Now my dad, who never gets sick, has caught it. The only people who haven’t caught it yet that we come into contact with are my grandmother and the baby, which is great but also funny since they’re the ones who are supposedly most at risk. Hopefully baby doesn’t get it because that would be misterable. I hate the sniffles, but I know a baby would be utterly miserable. Imagine milk being your only source of food, the only way to get it is from your mother or a bottle, and you’re too stuffed up to use either because you can’t breathe. We’ve been washing our hands a lot and trying to keep her from getting germy. I don’t think I’ve ever used this much hand sanitizer in my life. I probably wouldn’t have gotten sick under normal circumstances either, but my immune system is shot I’m sure since nursing moms are supposed to eat 6 times a day and I have time to eat twice (usually not healthy eating either), I’m way anxious, I don’t sleep well, and I’m perpetually dehydrated. I’m going to work on all of those though, and I am going to get better!
